Have you ever dreamed of trekking the length of New Zealand?

The Great New Zealand Trek is New Zealand’s most ambitious outdoor event taking an army of trekkers the length of the country. Participants can choose to mountain bike, ride a horse, or walk the distance, finishing each evening at the travelling campsite complete with gourmet mess hall, bar, hot showers and massage.
 Stage 5 is from March 13 to 21, 2010 with a possible route from Taharoa to Taumarunui.  See you there!
