
BikeNZ are looking for someone to be our new Bike NZ Road and Track (BRT) Relationship Manager. In this role you will be the vital link between the BikeNZ team and the Road and Track Council. Your role is to help the continued growth and development of competitive road and track cycling in NZ.
You’re role will be to coordinate and ensure the delivery of all initiatives to help develop the road and track sport disciplines. In this varied role you’ll be hands on, attending key events and council meetings. You’ll assist with the events strategy and on the ground delivery for Road and Track. You’ll be responsible for the coordination and development of BRT officials and volunteers around the country. You will work with the BRT council to create and implement development strategies for the sport, field all BRT related enquiries and assist the council with their planning and regular meetings.
You’ll ideally have a passion and knowledge of all things Road and Track in NZ and be keen to contribute your ideas to help develop the sport further. This is a challenging hands on role that requires someone willing to muck in, who is not afraid to swap between day to day tasks one minute and strategy development the next.
